Effective 14 August 2026. Agreement between you / your Organisation and CommonLynk, operated by Common Ground Solutions (CGS), a limited liability company established under Egyptian Law No. 159 of 1981, New Maadi, Cairo, Egypt.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using CommonLynk (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing Agreement and the Data Retention Policy. If you accept on behalf of an Organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. The Service
CommonLynk is a multi-tenant platform for managing programmes, beneficiaries, forms, indicators and reporting. Each Organisation receives an isolated workspace on its own subdomain. We may improve or change features over time and will avoid materially reducing core functionality without notice.
3. Accounts & security
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend accounts that pose a security or legal risk.
4. Acceptable use
You must not: use the Service unlawfully or to process data you have no right to process; upload malware; attempt to breach security, access other tenants' data, or circumvent access controls; reverse-engineer or resell the Service; or use it to harm others. You are responsible for your users' compliance.
5. Subscriptions, pricing & payment
- Free trial. A 7-day free trial is available. If you start a paid subscription during the trial, the paid subscription begins on the payment date and any remaining trial days do not carry over.
- Plans & billing cycle. Paid tiers are offered on a recurring basis; annual is the default cycle, with monthly available. Plan features and limits are shown at checkout and in your account.
- Currency & tax. Prices are shown in the currency applicable to your location (for example, the local currency for in-country customers and USD otherwise). Applicable taxes (such as VAT) are shown on your invoice; where prices are tax-inclusive, the tax portion is itemised.
- Payment methods. Payment is by card (via our payment provider) or bank transfer. Workspaces are provisioned/activated once payment is confirmed. For bank transfer, you submit your transfer reference (and optional receipt) in your account; we activate after verifying the payment.
- Vouchers/discounts. Valid voucher codes apply a discount before tax, subject to their terms and limits.
- Renewal & changes. Subscriptions renew for the chosen cycle unless cancelled. You can change tier or cancel from your account; changes take effect as described there.
- No card storage. We do not store full card details; card data is handled by our payment provider.
- Refunds & cancellation. Fees are paid in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law; you may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Non-payment, suspension & data
If payment lapses, your subscription enters a grace period and then a dormant period before any deletion, as set out in the Data Retention Policy. You can restore access by paying during these periods. We give notice before permanent deletion where required.
7. Your data & ownership
As between you and us, you own your Organisation Data. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and process it to provide the Service, as described in the DPA. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process the personal data you put into the Service, and for the rights and protection of the individuals, households and establishments you serve (each, a "Beneficiary"), including any children's or sensitive data.
8. Intellectual property
CommonLynk, its software, brand and content are owned by Common Ground Solutions (CGS) and its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.
9. Availability & support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service except as stated in any separate service-level commitment. Support is provided per your plan.
10. Warranties & liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties not expressly stated. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach, legal risk, or non-payment, with notice where practicable. On termination, data is handled per the DPA and Retention Policy.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date will change and material changes will be notified. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes are subject to the courts/forum of the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you have under your local law.
